Neil Davis

Neil Davis is a writer, director, and editor working in Los Angeles, California. Since he graduated with his Bachelor’s degree in cinema from San Francisco State University in 2015, Neil has accrued valuable experience in the industry working as an editor for social media agencies, small businesses, and brands in addition to directing micro-budget music videos and advertisements for socials. Neil would describe his creative style as whimsically depressed. Jordan Just Needs to Relax is Neil’s first feature length script.


Yani Gellman
Actor / Producer

Yani Gellman was born in Miami and moved frequently as a child, living in Australia, Spain, Texas, and Canada before moving to Los Angeles to pursue a career in the arts. Yani broke into film as an actor - starring in the Lizzie McGuire Movie and 47 Meters Down, and in television shows Pretty Little Liars and Bosch. He is now focused on creating his own stories, exploring the intersection between childhood trauma and cultural alienation - through a whimsical and genre bending approach. His directorial debut "Greetings, from the Planet Krog!" was nominated Best Narrative Short and won the 2020 Spirit of Slamdance Film Festival Award. In 2023 he was selected as an artist in residence at the Akin Studio Program and he has lectured at Claude Watson School for the Arts and Brooklyn High School for the Arts. Currently Yani stars in the indie-thriller "Departing Seniors" produced by Queensberry Pictures.


Anna Roberston
Producer

Anna Robertson is a San Francisco-based producer, writer, and filmmaker. With over a decade of experience in production, Anna has worked on Hollywood films such as Bumblebee, Solo: A Star Wars Story, and Venom and produced shoots for clients like NBC Sports, Wells Fargo, and GQ.
Driven by her lifelong passion for horror films, Anna established Step One Films in 2020 to focus on developing unique genre stories from distinct perspectives. The company garnered attention with its award-winning short film Feng Shui (dir. Kamran Rathod), which debuted on Omeleto after a successful festival run that included screenings at the San Diego International Film Festival, Panic Fest, and the Bushwick Film Festival.


Alex Ajayi
Director of Photography

Alex Ajayi got his start working in the grip and electric department on numerous projects ranging from commercials to feature films. From there he has been learning the craftsmanship that goes into shaping light and applying those skills into his cinematography. He has served as cinematographer on the independent feature film The Moon in Aquarius. His other credits include Venom: Let There Be Carnage, Fairyland, and Freaky Tales.
